TDL/TDS AI Navi (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) recognizes the importance of protecting users’ personal information, complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other applicable laws and regulations, and strives to handle and protect personal information appropriately in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Definition of Personal Information

- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local public entity, or a person entrusted by such an entity in performing duties prescribed by laws or regulations, and obtaining the user’s consent may interfere with the performance of those duties
Proper Acquisition of Personal Information
The Operator acquires personal information by proper means and does not acquire it by deception or other wrongful means.
Security Management of Personal Information
The Operator endeavors to keep acquired personal information accurate and manage it securely. The Operator strives to prevent loss, destruction, alteration, leakage, and unauthorized access. For data transmission from the Operator’s website, pages where users enter personal information use SSL encrypted communication so that information can be sent securely.
Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Except where disclosure is permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations, the Operator will not provide personal information to third parties without the user’s prior consent. However, the following cases do not constitute provision to third parties as described above:
- When the Operator entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided due to business succession caused by a merger or other reason
Disclosure of Personal Information
When a user requests disclosure of personal information pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Operator will confirm that the request is made by the user and disclose the information without delay. If such personal information does not exist, the Operator will notify the user accordingly. However, this does not apply where the Operator is not obligated to disclose the information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.
Correction of Personal Information
If a user requests correction, addition, or deletion of personal information on the grounds that the information is inaccurate, pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Operator will confirm that the request is made by the user and conduct the necessary investigation without delay within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use. Based on the results, the Operator will correct, add, or delete the personal information and notify the user accordingly. If the Operator decides not to make the correction, addition, or deletion, the Operator will notify the user accordingly. However, this does not apply where the Operator is not obligated to make such correction, addition, or deletion under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.
Suspension of Use of Personal Information
If a user requests suspension of use or deletion of personal information on the grounds that the information is being handled beyond the publicly announced purpose of use or was acquired by deception or other wrongful means, pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and the Operator determines that the request has grounds, the Operator will confirm that the request is made by the user and suspend the use of or delete the personal information without delay, then notify the user accordingly. However, this does not apply where the Operator is not obligated to suspend use or delete the information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.
Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Operator’s website may use cookies to collect information such as website browsing status. This data is not used to identify or track individuals. Users may change their browser settings to display a warning before accepting cookies or to reject cookies.
Review and Improvement
The Operator will review the status of operations related to the handling of personal information as appropriate and will strive for continuous improvement. The Operator may change this Privacy Policy as necessary.
